Ancestor:Descendants:

The cavepede split from its ancestor, the krillpede. It went deeper and deeper into the sea caves until it reached the water table. There it found an abundance of microorganisms to eat. However, when it traveled even further it found the mounds of sporetower lithoamoeba. It can still eat other microorganisms but prefers these since they are in large colonies. It will use it hooked beak to scrape off the microbes from the cave walls and then filter out the water with its baleen. It uses it small claws to hang onto the cavern walls when feeding. Other than that they are more or less the same as their ancestor.
