The chimney diamiboard has replaced its ancestor in Truteal Shallows. It has evolved its ancestor's trait of releasing spores from the top of the crystal, and now has a specialized vent from which it releases spores. It will produce massive amounts of spores inside the crystal while increasing the air pressure. It will release air from the inside through the vent, forming a cloud of spores above the crystal. The release of spores will go on for ten to twenty minutes. Due to island gigantism, it has grown ten times its ancestor's size.
