Ancestor:Descendants:

The clawsled split from its ancestor, the snowprint, in Drake Tundra. Its front claws have grown huge and are in a ski-like shape. This allows it to sit on them and slide across the snow like a sled. While they can push it with their back legs they mostly use their huge sail-like leaves. These leaves not only propel them across the snow like a sailboat but photosynthesize too.

They are black in color to help them heat up in the cold. While they stand out against the white snow their speed makes up for their lack of camouflage. When it is windy they can really move fast across the snow and can easily catch any running prey. They will use the front claws to impale the prey or bite them with their strong jaws. When there is no wind they will depend upon scavenging. They try to avoid muddy areas where they might get stuck and prefer areas with heavy ice or snow.
