The curdledberry split from their ancestor and moved into the Ittiz-Ovi Desert, where they concentrate their population mainly around oases. The leaves of this flora are long and leathery, they cover the ground around them and are used to keep competition, mainly desert chitinbane, from taking root in their fields. Their young are able to survive because of the way the leaves grow, the first half of their growth is straight up as a curled spike, this pokes out from underneath the mature plants leaves and thus are able to photosynthesize.
