With strains of the herbivorous trisphorous becoming more and more specialized on gildlings, some became specialized for detritus, becoming known as the detrivorous trisphorous, ultimately splitting from its ancestor. It is much like the mason trisphourous, moving using its cilia and flagellum, and sensing detritus with its chemoreceptors. It, along with the orbed nitroid, has replaced the generalist crawlnoid.
