The drakablo replaced its ancestor the shortfaced thornback. Like its ancestor it is an insectivore and feeds on sapworms, vermees and dartirs. It has developed a sail on its back to help regulate its heat better. They sun themselves in the morning and can stay active all day and even into the evening. They dig burrows to stay cool in if they get too hot. Their back thorns are more like head horns now and are larger on males.
