The dualtrunk replaced its ancestor, the reaching hoofbear. Rather than having 6 tentacles, it now has 2 main trunks (the other 4 are vestigial). Each trunk has highly dexterous muscles that can allow it to manipulate objects it picks up such as leaves and shrooms. They live in small herds that consist of 7-10 members that are all led by one male. They are quite social and will groom each other with their trunks to relieve tension within the herd.
