The featherprong tree split from its ancestor and doubled in size. It has two types of prongs now; the giant leaf prongs and the little spore prongs. The leaves of this organism are actually long enlarged fatty lumps. The trunk is in two parts; a soft part where the prongs grow, and a hard part which is used to support the body and protect it from herbivores, the bark is in tough layers that they can shed to discourage parasites.
