The fibrillus split from its ancestor. It has expanded its diet to include decaying matter, becoming the dominant decomposing flora in its habitats: it now obtains half of its nutrients from decaying matter, and if it cannot acquire enough sunlight for photosynthesis it can still survive. It has reduced in size but increased in reproductive rate, allowing it to spread throughout the eastern regions of Vivus. It prefers shaded areas, and so can be found clustered around larger flora, particularly the tripcrystal.
