The fiesta leafshell split from its ancestor the wading leafshell and moved to warmer waters following the darwin tufftdra. Howver with the marine tufftdra going exinct in Colddigger Polar Coast its ancestor did too. It has expand its diet and is half as big. Rather than wading in the water it floats on the top and dives down to eat. They travel in large herd 50 to 100 members. Each take turns looking and listening for predators while the other feed.
Like its ancestor it can also photosynthesize using its "leaf shell" and green skin. Males have a bright colored head while females are just plain greed liek their bodies. They each have their own mate and will both help raising their offspring. Since they spend all their time in the water the offspring sit on their "leaf shell" until they are old enough to wade around on their own. The parents pre-chew the food for the babies and then regurgitate them up for them to eat. They sleep standing up in the water.
