Splitting from its ancestor, the flat swarmers now lives in costal areas, near beaches. As well as becoming pretty fin, the flat swarmer has gained a fifth tail. This minor change allows it to move a little bit quicker, but doesn't affect things much. Unlike its ancestors, the flat swarmer relies on photosynthesis more.
Commonly, flat swarmers stay in shallow areas, allowing it to get light more easily. They burrow their fins into the ground, using them as an anchor of sorts. That way, it would be harder for them to drift away.
