The florisland split from its ancestor, the seadisk and moved into the warmer regions of Jujubee Ocean, where it could grow even larger. In addition to its photosynthesis diet, it has evolved strings at its underside, which allow it to get nutrients better out of the water and filter microorganisms. For that, the strings have a rough and fluffy surface, in which the microorganisms get stuck and can be absorbed, just like nutrients.
