Ancestor:Descendants:

The fruiting glog replaced its ancestor, the gloglend. It now grows small red fruit which are very sweet. This attract herbivores and helps spread the spores inside. it has thorns on its purple trunk to keep the herbivores from eating that part of it, thus allowing them to live longer. The roots have gotten more advanced and dig down deeper into the soil. This keeps them from blowing away from the high polar winds. They have been so successful they have also replaced their distant ancestor the towerglobe.
