Ancestor:Descendants:

The gateway swarmer split from its ancestor, the green swarmer. It is very much like its ancestor. It filters the water at the mouth of the Somarinoa Sea Cave. This way it can filter organic matter as well as gain some sunlight. They travel in large swarms to avoid being eaten by predators. Thus it looks like there is a big green cloud at the mouth of the sea cave.
