The gliding ketter has split from its ancestor, the mini-flower ketter in the Huggs Temperate Rainforest. It has grown strong wings so it can glide from xidhorchia to xidhorchia which they feed on. Their wing have also gain much stronger photosynthesizing cells to provide the energy needed for flight. They build nests in the top of the xidhorchia at the start of the mating seasons. They have 3-4 young each season, called "chitties". They live for about 15– 20 years.
