Ancestor:Descendants:

The wide-wing ketter split form its ancestor to take advantage of the new food sorce, the trunkplage. They spend their entire lives in the trunkplages, flying from one to another. Their skin has become a dark indigo color that allows them to hide in the shadows of the leaves. The wide-wing ketter has gained even stronger photosynthesis that stores energy in the cells of their wings that allows them to fly without using the energy they gain from food.

Because the wide-wing ketter feeds on the trunkplages, they have formed a semi-symbiotic relationship. The wide-wing ketter gets covered in the sap of the on their nectar, so the ketter ends up spreads the seeds of the trunkplages everytime it moves from tree to tree.
