Splitting from its ancestor, the glowbulb swarmer has moved into the Jujubee Trench. They reside in the Otter Vents, going near the vents to stay warm. They now have developed a sack on their back, which produces bioluminescence. Using the light, they can use the light to see where they are going, and also can use it to spot predators and prey. They also use the light they produce for weak photosynthesis. Other than that, they don't use photosynthesis, since they live so deep underwater.
They have grown larger than their ancestors, making then the second largest creature living in Otter Vents. The only predator they tend to avoid is the zergster, with it being quite larger than them.
