Ancestor:Descendants:

The grassnibble replaced the nonibble on the mainland, but not Yokto Island. With other more efferent rodent-like plents such as the norat and the nouse, the nonibble was pushed out of the Huggs Temperate Forest and Huggs-Yokto Savanna. With Huggs Beach already occupied by the beach notooth the only place left was Somarinoa Beach. There the grassnibble evolved more grass looking features such as the back leaves resemble grass and even the ears look grass-like. Its stomach has evolved to eat the very hard to eat glintdagger leaves as well as the red glowing seeds. Its camouflage helps keep it hidden from the large beach predators such as the azeraptor.
