The greater nizzard split from the original nizzard from the Huggs Temperate Forest. It now lives in the Huggs-Yokto Savanna and Desert. It has not changed dramatically. Changes include the teeth becoming bigger and stronger, strengthening of the jaws, longer ears, and a slight change in color.
Greater nizzards are solitary when they hunt small creatures like the nouse and norat, but they hunt in small packs when killing larger animals like violet ketters, combstrainers, and desert notooths. They still eat select plant matter and carrion.
The greater nizzard directly competes with some predators such as the tasertongues, notooth snappers, and plowls.
