The herbivorous trisphourous replaced their ancestor when the crawloid competing them with detritus. They have completely adapted to eating the mason gildlings. They have grown larger then their ancestors, and now secrete a digestive enzyme from specialized organelles on their cell membranes. these break down the cell walls of the gildlings. Like its ancestor, it uses its chemoreceptors to find its food, propelling itself with flagellum and the microscopic cilia that cover its body.
