Ancestor:Descendants:

The hooked infectoid split from its ancestor and doubled in size. It developed two thick flagella to swim faster and two long hooks for grabbing victims. The hooked infectoid now has two nuclei, one active and one inactive. They reproduce by latching onto a victim and injecting the inactive nucleus, which then activates and transforms the victim cell into a hooked infectoid producing factory. The mother hooked infectoid protects this factory for the rest of its life.
