Ancestor:Descendants:

The koelnutho split from the salty sunstalk and evolved a big chamber of spores, similar to a nut, from where airborne spores are released. The chamber breaks apart when fully rich of spores, detaching from the stalk and resting over the soil. Each half of the nut behaves pretty much like a boat and will protect and transport the spores within them while making the way to a new location. Due to this feature, it was able to spread to more wet environments, making the way to bog and marshes. The chamber may work as a primal support to some spores, which develop on it and later grow on suitable soil. Some time after, a new chamber will grow in the bush, using some of the stored energy from the bulb-like roots.
