The salty sunstalk split from its ancestor and moved to the beach. They are slightly taller, which allows them to avoid being smothered by the tide, or at least their spores. Like their ancestor they produces many airborne spores out of this chamber. The clouds are so abundant that they cause an orange haze around large colonies. Their bulb-like roots can store up energy during the winter. They are now sexual, their spores combining in the air. This allows for greater genetic diversity among the population.
