Ancestor:Descendants:

The leafplent worm split from its ancestor to feed on a new food source, the leaves of the giant immobile plents. Their appearance has changed to become more similar to its new food source, and it lost the chemoreceptor wings its ancestor had for it no longer feeds on seeds and therefore uses its eyes to find its way by folding the tail upward when flying, like many of its relatives do. While feeding its eyes look back, making it aware of danger coming from behind. It pincers has grown larger for they use them to cut off the leaves. Their wings still work in opposite to each other, with one pair going down when the other rises; the wings are always working whilst the worm is in the air.
