The lepsomae split from its ancestor, the lepousan, and moved to Mae Sandstone Caves. Its eyes have grown, to be able to see better in the caves.
Its new diet is the balloonomae, whose sugar filled bubbles give excellent nutrition and energy. However, it appears that the best bubbles are the ones in the upper segments, normally lain on the walls of the caves. This made the lepsomae depend upon climbing to get the really good bubbles.
They live in clans of approximately 10 individuals, with an alpha male and female, and a few babies that are hidden in deep burrows in the caves' floors. They choose their alphas by those best able to get the clan bubbles from the uppermost part of the balloonomae.
Its wings, now virtually unusable, have become mere patches of green on either of its sides.
