Ancestor:Descendants:

The lipper foi has replaced its ancestor. It has evolved quicker locomotion due to a set of ‘wings' on its lip. Muscles move the lip the same as its ancestor but the increased size now means the lipper foi can swim faster and therefore gather food quicker. The increased speed also helps the foi escape predators quicker. Reproduction, feeding and other general behaviour are the same as its ancestor.
