The manisketter has split from its ancestor, the emerald ketter. Unlike their ancestor, the manisketter spend less time in tree, but still are arboreal creatures. They have left their frugivores diet and an important change has been the development of a shield that afford it protection from predators, but also used for photosynthesis. In sexual reproduction, the female only gives birth to a baby.
