Ancestor:Descendants:

The marsh dweller split from it's ancestor. It has gone from the trees into the water, and has doubled it's size. It's color changing ability has increased and is usually shown blue to blend with the water. Since it used to live in the treetops, it walks on it's knuckles. It also developed a frill on the back of it's head to communicate with one another: pink means normal, yellow means scared, and red means aggressive.

It has changed its behavior. It is usually friendly with river chut and share marshrub with them. They don't mind. There's plenty to go around. they live in herds of 3-6 members. When frightened, it bellows out to warn the river chut herd (since they are deaf), swinging it's tail. To attack they swipe at their foe with it's scythe-like claws. They sire 1-2 offspring every 2 years. They have an average lifespan of 30 years.
