The mega worm has split from the foliage worm. It now continues to grow all of its life. It climbs on the sides of crystal solar towers and eats all day and all night. It doesn't even need to mate and lays tiny sticky eggs as it goes. They will grow up and up and do the same. The plates on its back have shrunk, since it has no natural predators, as nothing can reach it. It is able to stay stuck on the side with sticky fluid it secretes from its belly as well as its tiny clinging legs. They can grow as large as Earth's blue whales, but compared to the 250-1000 meter tall crystal solar towers, it looks like a tiny worm. It still has its back eyes to see the sun and know which way is up. It is a great event when a huge worm falls from the sky, which occurs when one dies. They can only travel up so far, though, before its too hard to breathe in the thick upper atmosphere. When weather is rough, they will huddle together, although this tends to squish smaller mega worms in the process.
