The mistcell replaced their ancestors and adapted further to life in the air. They no longer submerge themselves, instead they rely on nutrients blown into the air, such as dirt or organic particles. They can only be found within two miles of the shore, because the nutrients are most abundant there. They can now catch the particles and the wind using a membrane that connects the photosynthetic organelles. They have gotten smaller due to less nutrients.
