Ancestor:Descendants:

The monkheaded gulper's domehead has gained spikes, which are purely for mating purposes; the bigger the spikes, the more likely a female will choose it. Its tongue's stars have formed into balls, so it can smell prey from a lot further away. The tongue also has gotten longer, which they use to get deep within the noant's burrows, to gulp up as much of them as they can.

Its 'wooden' bones and spine have increased in strength; their muscles have also gotten stronger, which allows the monkheaded gulper to jump in the air higher and run faster.
