The multi-bulb volcanspade is an offshoot of the temperate spade-leaf that grows in Huggs Volcanic. There it has adapted to the ashy environment. It has a longer wider root system that can get up to 1.5 meters in the ground. In the end of every major root a bulb could be found. This is in order to survive the common volcanic eruptions and ash storms that cover and kill many of the flora in the area. After its leaves die off it waits for a few weeks and then starts growing back using the nutrients it gathered in the bulbs. In some cases the roots get disconnected because of these eruptions and new plants grow from each bulb. Still their main method of reproduction is using the five fruits it grows on top that contain hard seeds and are spread through the digestive systems of local fauna.
