The ninjaswoop split from its ancestor, the vandriswoop, and moved to Ninja Sandstone Caves. In this new environment, it has to grow near the entrance to the caves, where there's sunlight, and where the lolly poppy thrive. To be able to survive under the lolly poppy, it had to adapt to more then one source of food. It started filter feeding on tiaran octumoebium and dark octumoebium, which can be found in the ninjaswoop's own water puddle. It absorbs these micro-organisms through pores in its root bulb.
