The orboid split from their ancestor and moved to the sea shore. There both the sea spray and the humidity is at a large enough level that they no longer need to store water. Instead, they now use the dishes as a store for their spores, which balloon into fleshy orbs. This orb has a separate cell wall, which means it is a individual cell from the body. These orbs grow until they are too large to be supported. They then fall into the sea, where they stay, floating on the current, until they reach shore. Then hundreds of spores are released. After releasing the orb the organism dies. Like their ancestors, they are immobile, absorbing nitrogen out of the air and converting it into ammonia for fuel.
