The pallenidust is a split. It grows in Clayren Beach, in fine ridges created in the sand. In these holes, it develops a type of bulb, where can be seen many vesicles responsible by the storage of the sugars synthesized. Part of these sugars is dissolved in the water around it that, in contact with the sea, creates small brackish water puddles in the beach. These puddles are very useful to some small creatures, which can use them as a food source. Its rods also capture part of the air moisture by small bristles, that form small drops that drain until the ground.

Its tissues keep the same geometry of its ancestors, creating small rods of hexagonal section, supported by three small columns. From certain point, the rod divides in three, originating its reproductive structures. While these grow and elongate the branches, the cells located in the extremities become more rigid, being detached from the others. These dry and create small particles covered by a fine reserve substance, being carried by the wind. When it finds a favorable surface (a water drop in the sand) then it can starts to develop a new plant.
