Ancestor:Descendants:

The parasiticumae split from its ancestor, the tealspot cryoutine, and moved to Mae Sandstone Caves. It now lives on the lepsomae and acquires its food straight from its blood. Most lepsomae will have colonies of this organism on their skin. It is quite symbiotic with the lepsomae and depends on it for reproduction. During the lepsomae reproduction phase, the air will be filled with the parasiticumae, trying to find suitable hosts to feed on and reproduce. The lepsomae don't enjoy much out of this arrangement, though the smell secreted from the parasiticumae infested skin can repel carnivores, intent on finding a juicy lepsomae for dinner.
