The poison krugg split from its ancestor. Unlike its ancestor, it has specialized in feeding off of venomerald roots. When poison krugg are young, they look identical to their ancestors; but as they grow and eat more venomerald roots, they develop spines, a greenish hue that helps them blend in with the venomerald, and become poisonous after building up the tetrodotoxins in their body. Unlike its ancestor, the poison krugg has evolved an extra toe on each foot and another joint on each toe, so it can cling on to venomerald roots. Otherwise, it is similar to its ancestor.
