Ancestor:Descendants:

The Polar Sprinter has split from its ancestor to enter the South Tundra. It has now become an omnivore because of lack of food in the area. It will usually scavenge kills of other animals, not being greatly specialized to the area. They travel in packs of up to 6 to 9. They eat any flora or sick/dead fauna. When they see a good kill that is being eaten by other scavengers or predators they will send the strongest of the group to deal with the scavengers that are already eating or the fastest to have chased after long enough to have the group steal the food and relocate it. They also use sliding as a locomotion; they mostly walk though. For mating season the will slide into each other to find the alpha male of the group. Their backs have become whiter to allow them to camouflage. They have also gotten fatter to both keep themselves and the newborns warm. The pregnancy takes about 5 months and 4 are born. They are usually born small. They will usually stay with the group for one year and leave.
