The predatory majurum split from it's ancestor, the soil majurum, and adapted to eat other rust cells. They are ten times larger than their ancestor and are known to eat them. They came about as iron levels began to drop in area of higher concentrations of microbes. They envelope their prey with pseudopods, then use the iron to survive.
