The puffkin evolved from the berry puffplant. It grows in the forest and is mainly eaten by herbivorous plents. Its berry has grown so much that it has formed a melon or squash. It has many seeds inside which have hard shells with a bitter layer. When plents eat the tasty fruit, it will ingest the seeds. The seeds will secrete the bitter chemicals sometime later and give them indigestion, making them vomit out some of the seeds in a new spot. Despite this action, plents cannot resist the addicting sweet taste of the puffkin.
