The razor-tongue gulper has split from the saggulper and has grown much bigger. As the azelak and the azelowe can only feed on the alpine violetgrass, this leaves the firpalm and the pineplent uneaten. The razor-tongue has evolved to take advantage of this. Its tongue has evolved backwards-facing ‘hooks' that strip the branches of the trees. It has completely lost its front arms as they are now useless. These slow beasts move in small groups. They do eat firpalm, but rely on the pineplent for their main source of food. The razor-tongue has evolved to be able to smell and sense the air for traces of the pineplent, which guides them to their food, as although their vision is better than their ancestors, it still isn't very good.
