The red-eyed landlubber split from its ancestor, the landlubber onamor. It has specialized in eating black flora on Sparks Tropical Beach. It lives in the intertidal zone and must return to water to lay its eggs. However this can be dangerous with so many predators in the sea. Like its ancestor it has a flap of skin which covers their gills, keeping them moist and allowing them to spend time on land without suffocating. And slimy skin to keep from drying out. This slime also has a mild poison that tastes bad to predators and will make them sick if they are eaten. It has also developed primitive legs and toes to help it pull itself across the sand. As well as prehensile face tentacles which can both help drag its body and pick off leaves from black flora. Its bright red marks not only ward off predators but help attract mates.
