The rusty flat sandworm replaced it ancestor the flat sandworm in Clayren Coast. Its relative still exists over in Somarinoa Coast. Due to all the other predators competing for food it changed its life style from ambush predator to a scavenger. Its coloring is now rusty red to blend in with the rusty sand. It will wait under the sand smelling for any dead creatures. If it smells something it will swim towards it until it gets to the food source. Its whole body is much more streamline and flat. Its has many more segments to be flexible. It is blind and deaf and must depend upon touch and smell.

These are randomly selected, and organized from lowest to highest shared taxon. (This may correspond to similarity more than actual relation)
