Salt Moss split from Luminuseven. It has adapted to life in the salty lake at the end of the river. It has seven long pseudopods rich in chloroplasts that remain outside the water to absorb the light in this equatorial region of Sagan 4. It orients by phototaxis and most of the time, it remains on the surface of the fresh water bodies, liberating oxygen bubbles through the central region between its pseudopods. When a shade covers the water, it uses its flagella, doing movements in helix, to swim quickly for an illuminated place. If stranded in a dried up salt bed it can stay dormant until water returns.
