Ancestor:Descendants:

The saltspitter replaced its ancestor. Aside from it's head anatomy and increase in size it's appearance and behavior are almost identical to the crying pakko. Instead of simply crying waste salt out, it started to use it as a defensive weapon; it developed colorful sacs under its eyes where it stores the concentrated salt solution and a duct on its beak. Should it get threatened, it will display its wings and shoot a load of concentrated salt solution in the opponent's eyes.
