The saucertree replaced its ancestor, the firecracker tree in the Nuke Tropical Rainforest. Its ancestor was so tall that it kept falling down so it has reduced its size. It still towers over most other flora but won't fall down as easily. Its branches now grow mostly at the top of the tree since in the rainforest its crowded and all flora fights for light. It has developed photosynthetic leaves in the shapes of saucers. These are modified armored trunk segments. They still have these on the trunk which help it grow so tall as well as protected against any fires. However fires are much more rare in a humid and rainy biome such as the rainforest. Because of this it no longer uses fire to reproduce. It just has normal nuts which fall from the tree or are eaten by fauna and redistributed.
