The septa korystal has split from the giga korystal, and become two times larger due to the slowly growing water levels in Jeluki, it can also spread it's spores over wide areas because more of it is above the water. This allowed it to spread to Jeluki Salt Marsh, it's whirlpool is now stronger, so it can trap buds from the various pioneer organisms in Jeluki Salt Marsh.
