The giga korystal split from its ancestor, the anchor-branch korystal, it grew to double its ancestors size, and due to the odo going extinct, it took advantage of the population of ashkalatongrass in Jeluki Temperate River, it vibrates, creating a whirlpool which attracts the spores. It no longer grows curved branches but has a very strong interlocking inner structure. It has small pores one micrometer wide to intake its food, but otherwise; it is very similar to its ancestor.
