The solar carnofern split off from its ancestor the hibernating carnofern in Krakow Rocky and now lives in Flisch-Krakow Alpine. There are few differences between the solar carnofern and the hibernating carnofern, the solar carnofern is able to stay dormant even longer as it has a wider trunk half-covered with a thin leaf membrane enabling it to gather more sunlight for more reserved energy to survive during hibernation. Other than its new extreme hibernating abilities and wider trunk it looks much like its ancestor with purple leaves and pink flower however, it has lost its sticky fibers as it no longer feeds on stickyballs.
