The spadeclawed shellwalker replaced the desert shellwalker. When the desert shellwalker no longer could eat the flightberry, it had to focus on eating only vandriswoop. To be able to survive with only the vandriswoop it had to evolve special claws that looks like spades that are very useful for digging up the vandriswoops. They have also evolved an extra couple of digging flippers from a pair of the legs. This, combined with that the nostrils now sit close to the ground to easier detect the vandriswoop the spadeclawed shellwalker can survive solely on the vandriswoop. It has also evolved flatter shells on its back, which also have a rough surface. The reason this has happened is because it helps the cleaner sauceback to stand on its back, removing the deadly crusher worms. The shells still contain as much water though, since they are now partly inside the body of the shellwalker. The legs have also gotten stronger and bigger to support the cleaner saucebacks.
